Talking Windows Phone 7 Series On Fox News
On Feb. 26, I sat down with a group of fellow technology journalists on Clayton Morris's "Gadgets and Games" (Fox News, 3-4pm EST) to talk about a number of topics, including Windows Phone 7 Series. The video is at the link above, and imbedded here:
The general consensus seems to be that Microsoft is making a very solid attempt in the mobile space with its newest smartphone OS, although the length of time between Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer's unveiling announcement (on Feb. 15, during Barcelona's Mobile World Congress) and the actual release of devices (at some undefined point near the end of the year) could give its competitors something of an advantage in terms of trying to assemble a response.
In any case, there was some interesting back-and-forth about Microsoft's chances and potential in the smartphone space.
